For years, print planning has been done in the same way - defining the target group, selecting the titles and making a plan. Meanwhile, however, important insights concerning the media affect, like the build-up of the reach in time, cannot be generated. The definition of target group is often either too small or too broad for planning due to the applied method in the planning system. All these shortcomings of the planning system have a huge effect on the media effort, which is beyond the planners.

Managing The Planning Process

Pressure aims to manage the whole planning process, from understanding the communications target to creating a detailed plan for media buying. For example, Pressure incorporates the module "Target Ware" to translate a communication target into a media target. Problems such as having a target group with too small a sample or too broad a definition will never happen. The plan in Pressure can be filled out with the desired ad format, net price and insertion date.

Flexible Workspace

Pressure provides great flexibility through its use of WorkSpace, where all the elements of one campaign (including target groups, titles, plans and analysis) are all listed in one area so that the process is transparent and easy to manage. Any necessary change can be made to one element and it will be automatically applied throughout the whole campaign.

Optimisizing Results

Pressure generated advanced statistics for optimized print planning. For example, you can easily select titles within the user interface where GRP, reach, selectivity and costs are presented. You can decide the number of insertions for a plan based on the added value of an extra insertion for a title. Last but not least, Pointlogic provides insights on the build up of reach, GRP's and OTS in time.
